Regional School Health Services
-
Throughout the pandemic, school nurses focused on COVID-related tasks and, as a result, were pulled from many duties that require attention and maintenance. Many school nurses say they are burned out after taking on additional responsibilities related to mitigation strategies and protocols, contact tracing, and addressing indirect health consequences of the pandemic, such as delays in kids getting other critical vaccines or soaring mental health concerns. To address this, the Minnesota Department of Health partnered with the Minnesota Service Cooperatives to build capacity on a regional basis.
Licensed School Nurse (LSN) services at SWWC are based on your school district's needs and include best practice standards in areas of delegation, supervision and education while complying with current laws and standards. Here are ways we can help!- Delegated Skilled Nurse Training
