Supporting Learning Opportunities
-
We believe children in southwest and west central Minnesota deserve innovative learning opportunities so they can be positioned to learn, grow and find success. The SWWC Foundation raises funds to support regional student enrichment, but also accepts donations to support other programs within SWWC, including the SWWC Educational Learning Centers and The READY Clinic at SWWC.

Educational Learning Centers
-
SWWC's six educational learning centers provide services to special education students in the region with severe disabilities and behavior issues. Our ELCs are located in Cosmos, Marshall, Montevideo, New London, Pipestone and Windom.
Donations help support their PBIS stores where students can spend "points" earned throughout the day for showing respect, responsibility and safe behaviors. Donations can also support field trips, holiday gifts, etc.
The READY Clinic
-
The READY Clinic at SWWC provides early intervention ABA services to children up to 6 years old, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, at our locations in Cosmos, Marshall and Montevideo. Legislative and insurance reimbursement changes, along with staffing shortages, have created a funding gap, making it challenging for The READY Clinic to serve ASD families.
Your gift will make a difference for local families!- $80 covers the cost of a parent to attend a one-hour caregiver peer-to-peer learning group to connect and receive the support of other parents.
- $125 covers the average cost of one hour of intensive therapy services at The READY Clinic.
- $160 covers the average cost of a one-hour caregiver coaching session to support a parent in learning new strategies to support a child.
- $750 covers the average cost of a three-hour diagnostic evaluation appointment.
