SWWC's Technology Department offers a variety of hosting solutions for your school or organization. All members of SWWC are automatically eligible for the services below at their stated prices as stated in the terms of your membership agreement. SWWC is not an E-Rate Eligible Service Provider, therefore E-Rate discounted pricing is not available for any of the services below.

 

Moodle hosting is available to your school on a per-course or full district model. Under both models there are no restrictions to the number of students your course can have in each course. Hosted Moodle courses and Moodle Environments are intended for hybrid and blended course environments within your school district. Cross-district enrollment in an online course must be run through a Minnesota Department of Education Approved Online School. For Moodle Course Hosting, SWWC will provide your teacher access to their course. Enrollments of students can be handled through manual, template imports or student self-enrollment with a customized enrollment key. Each unique course setup will be billed out separately and can be used for the extent of the school year.

For Moodle District Hosting customers, SWWC will provide you with a customized Moodle environment of your own, assist in integrating your Moodle environment with your Active Directory infrastructure and provide you with administrative access to your Moodle server. Your Moodle District Hosting service also includes Moodle 101 training for up to 20 teachers at your district. Mileage expenses incurred by SWWC traveling to the School to complete such training are included in the annual contract fee, but the School is responsible for other travel expenses that may be incurred. The School may purchase additional training at the School’s Technology Services rate. 

Moodle Course Hosting: $50 per course annually

Moodle District Hosting: $1,200 per district annually - plus $1 per student (up to $750)

  

All hosted websites are backed up nightly as a part of the annual fee. SWWC is not liable for data loss due to accidental or purposeful deletion of data from our servers.

Windows Server Website Hosting Fees: $240 annually

Linux Server Website Hosting Fees: $225 annually

 

 

All hosted Email accounts are backed up nightly as a part of the annual fee. In POP3 access environments, where Email messages are being downloaded to an Email client, the backup of messages may not occur. SWWC is not liable for data loss due to accidental or purposeful deletion of data from our servers.
